Bright Nights

BrightNights was a one-off, North Edinburgh Arts event, held in the now demolished Muirhouse shopping centre.

The event featured temporary, reflective artworks on trees, dance, singing, film projections, light photography, unveiling of a brand new paste-up mural, food, lighting installations and lots of head torches.

In the lead up to the event 140 local school children were engaged in workshops to design and create reflective props and accessories for the night and Participants at NEA's Saturday Arts and Muirhouse Youth Development Group's Hub devised dance routines using reflective props.

Bright Nights was made possible by Urban Union, Creative Scotland & City of Edinburgh Council
